Hardened Steel Extruder Unit - Bambu Lab X1E
The hardened steel extrusion unit is equipped with double hardened steel gears, which gives it increased extrusion strength, prevents slippage and improves abrasion resistance. These gears allow the extrusion unit to handle tough engineered filaments such as carbon fiber reinforced nylon and glass fiber reinforced nylon.
Additionally, the extrusion unit includes a sensor that supports filament run-out detection, which can help prevent print failures and improve overall printing efficiency.
